Who it's for

- Anyone using share links for client previews or demos.
- New hosts unsure how share links are generated.

Publish
- Open the History view in the host toolbar and locate the page you want to share.
- Click the Share button next to the page. Verify the generated link ends with your page’s slug (e.g.,
/p/abc123), not the root domain. - If the link still points to the marketing home, check the Access setting. It should be Public or Password for that specific page, not a global default.
- Ensure you haven’t selected the “Marketing Home” option when sharing. The share dialog should show the exact page title, not “Home”.
- Clear your browser cache or open the link in an incognito window to rule out cached redirects.
- If the issue persists, compare the link with the one in understand your share link to confirm the format.
- For further help, see visitors see a password gate or cannot open share link.
Gotchas
- Share links can inherit the default “marketing home” if the page’s access settings are not saved correctly.
- Using the same domain for multiple pages may cause confusion; always verify the slug in the URL.
- Browser extensions or corporate proxies sometimes rewrite URLs, leading to unexpected landing pages.
