Include audio or video in a zip upload

Plus and Pro allow audio in a zip; Ultra also allows video. Match extensions and plan limits before you host.

Include audio from Plus, and video on Ultra, inside the same zip as index.html. Extensions and size limits follow your current plan.

Who it's for

  • Plus or Pro users adding mp3 (or other allowed audio) to a static site
  • Ultra users adding mp4 or webm alongside HTML
  • Anyone preparing a zip after reading Upload a zip or folder site

Steps

  1. Confirm your plan — Open Pricing or Read the Pricing page. Free has no audio or video. Plus and Pro add audio. Ultra adds video.
  2. Use allowed extensions — Audio: mp3, wav, ogg, m4a. Video: mp4, webm. HTML, CSS, JS, images, and fonts stay available on every plan.
  3. Keep index.html at the root — Link media with relative paths (for example clip.mp3). New accounts: Create an account and host your first page.
  4. Stay under zip limits — File count: Free 5, Plus 20, Pro 50, Ultra 80. Sizes are on Pricing (Free 1 MB / 3 MB, then higher).
  5. Upload or re-upload — Use the home Upload zip / folder tab, or More → Re-upload in Uploads. Re-upload is checked against your current plan.
  6. If the host rejects media — See Audio or video rejected by your plan or Zip upload failed.

Gotchas

  • Pages already live are not taken down when a plan’s file cap changes; the next upload or re-upload is enforced.
  • Visitors load media from your hosted page URL; do not expect a separate download locker.
  • One disallowed extension fails the whole zip—remove it or upgrade, then retry.
