Who it's for
- New users deciding between the Free plan and a paid upgrade
- Anyone checking current storage, upload limits, or plan features
- Users planning to upgrade, redeem a code, or understand billing
Steps
- Open the Pricing page. It lists Free, Plus, Pro, and Ultra side by side so you can compare storage and upload limits at a glance.
- Start with the Free tier. It is enough for testing pasted HTML, a small zip, or a public page. If you are unsure which hosting method to use, read When to Paste Your HTML Directly vs Uploading a Zip or Folder.
- Compare the paid plans. Each tier adds storage and higher zip limits. Check files per zip (5 / 20 / 50 / 80) and media types (audio from Plus; video on Ultra). For a breakdown, see Storage and limits for each HTMLPUT paid plan.
- Decide whether Free is enough. Most personal pages and small demos fit on Free; larger bundles, audio, or video often justify an upgrade. See When Free is enough vs when to upgrade.
- Upgrade directly from the Pricing page. The checkout flow is handled securely, and your new limits apply right away. See Upgrade or change your storage plan on Pricing.
- Have a storage code? Use it on the Pricing page to extend or change your plan. See Redeem a storage code to extend or change your plan.
- After you pay, review what changes next. See After you pay: quota, History, and what updates next.
Gotchas
- The numbers on
/pricingare the source of truth; plan details can change, so check there before deciding. - Paid plans renew automatically unless you cancel. See How billing and renewals work.
- If your free storage is full, upgrade or clean up old pages. See Free up HTMLPUT storage or upgrade when your quota is full.
