Delete a Hosted Page from History
1. **Sign in** and open your account. If you're not yet logged in, head to [Sign in and use History to manage your pages](/help/getting-started/sign-in-and-use-history-to-manage-your-pages) for a quick walkthrough of the
Who it's for
- Anyone signed into their HTMLPUT account who wants to remove a published page
- Users cleaning up old drafts, test uploads, or pages no longer needed
- People who share links and want to take a page offline completely
Steps
- Sign in and open your account. If you're not yet logged in, head to Sign in and use History to manage your pages for a quick walkthrough of the dashboard.
- In the left sidebar, click History to see every page you've hosted. Each entry shows the title, share link, access type, and upload date. You can also review how share links work so you know exactly what others may still have access to.
- Find the page you want to remove and click the three-dot menu on that card. Select Delete.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted. The page is removed immediately — its share link will stop working and visitors will see an error.
- If you ever need to recover or edit a page before deleting it, see Edit page title and access settings in History for what you can adjust.
- After deletion, the page disappears from History permanently. If you'd rather remove all hosted pages and close your account, check out Remove hosted pages and close your account.
- If you deleted a page by accident and it was blocked by a ban rather than removed by you, read Understand page bans and violation scores to see whether an appeal might restore it.
Gotchas
- Deleted pages cannot be recovered. Once confirmed, the page and its files are gone from History and from our servers. Back up any HTML or assets before deleting.
- Share links stop working immediately. Anyone who had the link will see a broken or blocked page. If you only wanted to restrict access temporarily, consider using password protection or public vs password settings instead.
- Deleting your account removes all pages at once. If you have multiple hosted pages and only want to remove one, delete the individual page from History rather than closing your account entirely.
