Who it's for
- Site owners wanting to gate public content
- Managers setting up exclusive portfolios or demos
- Teams protecting sensitive project showcases
Steps
- Navigate to the public work in your history and open its edit view.
- Locate the Claim Code field and enter or select a code from your claim pool. - To create new codes, go to generate-claim-codes.
- Save the edit and confirm the code appears on the page.
- Test the setup by visiting the public link with different browsers to ensure the code is required.
- If needed, regenerate a fresh code at redeem-a-claim-code for testing.
Gotchas
- Each claim code can only be used once per public work.
- Expired or unused codes will not grant access.
- Make sure the code is communicated clearly to anyone sharing the link.
