Paste HTML from an AI chat and host it
Copy HTML from ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools, paste on HTMLPUT, and get a live share link in seconds.
Who it's for
- People who generated a page in ChatGPT, Claude, v0, or similar tools
- Developers who want a preview link without Git or a local server
- Anyone sharing an AI-made demo with teammates or clients
Steps
- Copy the HTML — In your AI chat, copy the full HTML document (prefer a complete file with `
,, and`). - Open HTMLPUT — Go to the home page and keep the Paste code tab selected.
- Paste and title — Paste into the editor, add a Page title, and choose public or password access.
- Deploy — Complete verification if prompted and host the page to get a live edge URL.
- Share the link — Copy the share URL; see Understand your share link for who can open it.
- Multi-file output — If the AI gave a folder or zip of HTML/CSS/JS/images, use Upload a zip or folder site instead of paste.
- Keep iterating — For larger edits, paste a new version or manage pages from History after you sign in.
Gotchas
- Incomplete snippets (CSS-only or a fragment without a document shell) may look broken—ask the AI for a full HTML page when needed.
- Server-side or database features from the chat will not run; HTMLPUT hosts static HTML, CSS, and JS.
- Follow Create an account and host your first HTML page if you want History, quotas, and account features.
