Use the host toolbar: title, access, paste vs upload

Tour the controls under the editor on the home page before you host.

Who it's for

  • First-time hosts on the home page
  • Users switching between single-page paste and multi-file upload
  • Anyone who missed the title or Turnstile step before hosting

Steps

  1. Pick a tab — Paste code for one HTML document; Upload zip / folder for static sites.
  2. Page title — Required before Host now; shown in History.
  3. Password toggle — Off for public links; on to require a visitor password (paste tab).
  4. Turnstile — Complete the bot check in the toolbar before submit.
  5. Host now — Creates the page and sends you to History on success.
  6. Tutorial video — Use the play button on the tab bar if you prefer a walkthrough.

Gotchas

  • Paste and upload share the toolbar but follow different validation rules.
  • Upload tab hides the paste editor; prepare zip/folder locally first.
  • You must be signed in—see host your first page to register.
